ADEDAYO ADESUGBA (FIH, FNHCI, FITP, FTHC)

Adedayo is a seasoned hotelier and restaurateur with about 40 years of experience in the industry. He graduated with an H.N.D. in Catering and Hotel Management from Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin in 1982 and later worked with Starwood Corporation as one of the pioneer staff of their new Sheraton Hotel in Lagos. He furthered his training in the United States and was contracted by BDRC Continental as a global Hotel Inspector in 2014.

Adedayo has conducted training programs for various hospitality establishments, including Le Meridien Eko Hotel & Suites and the Golden Tulip Al Jazira Resort, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has also been involved in the pre-opening and management of several hotels in Nigeria.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality (IoH), UK, Nigerian Hotel & Catering Institute (NHCI), and the Institute of Tourism Professionals of Nigeria.
Adedayo is the CEO of Nexus318 Hospitality Management & Investment Co. Ltd and sits on the Academic Board of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Entrepreneurship Skills Training Centre (BEST Centre). He was also one of the initiators of the formation of the first Tourism and Hospitality Consultants Association in Nigeria (ATHCON) in 2012.

MR EMMANUEL FRIMPONG
EMMANUEL FRIMPONG is Tourism and Hospitality Consult and Analyst. He is also a Lecturer at Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture). He is the Founding President of Africa Tourism Research Network (ATRN), Vice President and Co-Founder, Africa Medical Tourism Council (AMTC). He is also the CEO of Pishon Consult Ltd and President and Founder of People of Purpose (youth focused NGO). Emmanuel is also the Country Chair for Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation (Global NGO Headquartered in the USA), He is also the country representative of West Africa Ecotourism Network (WAEN) and West Africa Tourism Organisation (WATO). He is also the Greater Accra Regional Chair of Institute of Hospitality (IH), a proud member of the Golden Awards Committee of Afro Asian Union (AFASU) and Honorary Director General for African Continent for Global Alliance for Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism (GAEST). Emmanuel is the Country Head of Pan African Heritage Museum (PAHM) and sits on the International Board of the same.
Emmanuel is a CBT Curriculum Development Expert. Emmanuel sits on Sayari Dunia Sustainable Tourism Foundation and several other committees and boards. He is also a member of the Global Agritourism Network (GAN) and on the its policy and advocacy board, a Global Ambassador for Tourism Education and Research at the Africa Tourism Board. Mr Frimpong is also Patron of the Ghana Association of Tourism and Hospitality Students (GATHS) and Board Chair of Kids in Tourism. Emmanuel was recently inducted into the Humanities Chamber of Commerce as the Most Influential Tourism Development Expert of 2023. He is the immediate past Executive Secretary of Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF).
Emmanuel holds an MBA (Corporate and International Finance) from the University of Leicester UK, Executive Masters in Tourism Management (Still pending from University of Cape Coast), BA (Hons) Soc. Sci (from the KNUST), Diploma in Hospitality Management and many other certificates.

BRIAN EFA
Brian Efa is a Harvard-trained finance expert, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also a widely respected authority on taxation and fiscal policy. He is currently a Assistant Director with the Federal Inland Revenue Service of Nigeria.
Brian brings with him wover 15 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. He is celebrated as the first indigenous General Manager of Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, where his cerebral leadership revitalized the hotel, yielding significant returns on investment and restoring its status as a premier hospitality destination.
Efa’s rise and accomplishments in the industry are noteworthy. As the Founder and President of the Nigerian Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference, he has continually advanced the sector. His tenure at Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort was preceded by influential roles particularly in the finance management segment of the industry.
Prior to his appointment as
GM, he carved a niche for himself as Director of Finance, Ibom Hotel; pioneer Assistant Financial Controller, Southern Sun, Ikoyi – Lagos; pioneer Senior Accountant, Le Meridien Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, and Finance and Admin. Manager at Le Chateau Hotel and Suite, Calabar.
Brian comes with a rich and multi-sectorial background in Shipping, Oil and Gas, Hospitality, Consulting and Public Service. His expertise extends to his role as General Manager, Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Legos, Founding Partner, Jonel Hospitality Consulting – a hospitality investment advisory firm, where he has spent six years advising individuals, firms, and governments on strategic hospitality investments, securing over $500 million in syndicate funds for hotel development in Nigeria.
His academic credentials include a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Calabar, an MSc in Corporate Finance from the University of Liverpool, and he is currently undertaking a second Masters Degrees in Accounting with specialty in taxation and fiscal policy at Babcock University.
Brian has a certificates in Finance Management from Hotel School The Hague (Netherlands), and in Hotel Management from Wavecrest College of Hospitality, alongside numerous professional courses both locally and internationally, including training at Harvard Business School, John Maxwell Leadership Academy, and Lagos Business School.
Brian is one of the few Nigerians to have successfully manage a large hotel in Nigeria

LYDIA AKUNJA
Lydia Aluoch Akunja is a trainer and hotelier with over 10 years teaching experience in Hotel and Hospitality Management at institutions of higher learning. She is currently pursuing her PHD in Hospitality Management. Her research interests are in hospitality operations and management, events practice and management, hospitality facilities and property as well as contemporary issues in hospitality and events.
Lydia has vast experience in handling of examinations as well as coordination of practical activities and events at the University. Lydia is a result-driven individual with a passion for industry linkages and mentorship.
She is a member of the Tourism Professional Association and also a member of Heads of Housekeeping Professionals Association of Kenya. She was part of the committee that saw the successful planning and execution of the visit by the French Ambassador to Kenya and South Sudan to Moi University.
She is also the Kenya-Coordinator for the Women Leading Change Training Program (WLC) a transformational leadership program funded by the Samasamin foundation and Coordinated by the University of Dar Es Salaam Business School and Moi University. The WLC program delivers profound transformation in two unique ways through mindset shifts and coaching.
